Aliexpress FM Superheterodyne Receiver Kit

This surprisingly good kit sells for about $20 on AliExpress as "Discrete Components FM Frequency Modulation Superheterodyne Radio Kit DIY Electronics".
I made some modifications.
I increased Vcc to 9Vdc and added an audio isolation transformer at the output.
The build requires the addition of a large ground plane in order to function.
Ideally, the circuit should be contained in a grounded metal box.
An oscilloscope is not required, but it makes tuning all the transformers a bit easier.
This kit did not come with any instructions. It contained a parts list and a schematic, both of which were written in Chinese.
