As a Wisconsin fan, this loss hurt. But I know that we were major underdogs in this game to begin with so it’s impressive that we could go toe-to-toe with a top 15 team in the country. Great game.

No disrespect to LSU whatsoever, but I think we could’ve won this game if our coaches weren’t “playing not to lose.” Fickell never went for it on 4th and short, and Longo played way too conservatively in the second half. But, LSU got it done and we couldn’t.

Major props to LSU’s offense. Nussmeier looked really impressive throwing to his talented WRs, especially behind that great o-line. Maybe we can get a rematch in the 12-team playoff next year 🫡

This was a great back and forth scoring game by both teams, even though Wisconsin lost they still put up a heck of a performance, but still great season by LSU.

This was the best non college football playoff bowl on New Year's Day by far. The two Semi Final games between Michigan-Alabama and Washington-Texas were fantastic, but this bowl between LSU and Wisconsin was really good also.
