The _house_ represents their relationship, or his attraction towards the girl. He feels trapped in the house because he cant escape the thought of her even if tried. The lights represent his feelings for her, the light in the darkness flickering on and off again. But because theyre both obviously different (a rocker kid in dark clothes, and a preppy girly girl in white, ) the relationship cant work. Thats why she tells him "I am a prisoner of your own mind, " followed by "you have to let go of..." At the end he accepts the fact that their relationship wouldnt work. So he finally sets her free. He nods his head, accepting the truth, right before the door opens for him as he's ready to leave the _'house.'_

To any former emo out there, I find myself here 10 years later cause being an adult kinda sucks and I'm reminiscing. This video brought back so much. I remember discovering this specific song by Pierce The Veil and instantly fell in love. I remember about a year later Selfish Machines dropped and I was the happiest emo kid. I waited 2 years after that for Collide With The Sky to drop. I saw them live for the first time in 2013. 4 years after I had discovered them. They've stuck for so long and honestly I'm so proud of how far they've come. From playing the Ernie Ball Stage at Warped Tour to having their own headlining tours and going Platinum with King For A Day. Honestly anything is possible. Eat ass and live life fast guys!!
