I often think about the disciples, and how their lives turned out.

Men who had far, far more faith than we do. Men who literally sacrificed all they had for the sake of the gospel! And what end did they meet? Poverty, torture, and death.

And they gladly traded their normal comfortable lives to that end. Because God offered something so much more than temporary pain or fleeting pleasure. They KNEW their mission was worth the trials.

We’re the disciples not far closer to God then these televangelists??? Compare their lifestyles; who seems more authentic?

The way I see it, there are 2 different types of "prosperous" lives. There are those who seek prosperity in the haining of material wealth, and there are those who seek prosperity in doing the work God has given them to do. The first is to pursue lust and greed. The second is to pursue humility and servitude.

Prosperity is good and poverty is bad. God never said he doesn't offer people what unregenerate people want. He offers righteousness, purity, forgiveness, healing, love, and prosperity.

If Jesus was physically on the earth today, he wouldn't be scamming people and talking advantage of them in order to become rich.

This reminds me of another preacher who said he was going up to his prayer tower and if didn't get a million dollar donations he would die he must have gotten it because he Said his healing hand was hot a friend said it was hot from counting all that money 🤑 this is so sad wounder what would have been said if after he got the money he died

My consciousness shudders in horror when I think about what awaits these people: Copeland, Osteen etc.
May they repent before it's too late.

We have not robbed God of tithes and offerings which are monetary…if each person in all the congregations set out to do the First Works of Christ there would be no concern of money
