Robotics process automation has two-sided benefits, according to Vince DiMascio, chief information officer at Berry Appleman & Leiden. See what DiMascio has to say about the benefits of RPA on the client side and in the back office.

Robotics process automation, or RPA, deployments provide round-the-clock service to clients, inherently improving client care and access. Additionally, RPA software is also being used as the glue for systems integration work that hitherto was too expensive to tackle. DiMascio makes a convincing case as to why RPA trumps APIs as his system integration tool of choice; he claims RPA enables BAL to do things they wouldn’t normally be able to do to deliver client service.
