Regarding the "three in one" refrain ("1:34, " "3:00, " "3:24, " et al), that was never a part of Yahwehism. In short, there is no such thing as "the [t]rinity, " which false thinking & assumption is a Gentile religious concoction that has blinded many persons from it started & got called "trinitas" by Tertullian.
What is truth is that the Omnipotent Spirit (Yahweh) who is holy & who created the Universe in His appointed time came into this world physically by creating for Himself a Human Body in the uterus of the then-virgin Jewish young woman Mary! He retained His OT name "Yahweh, " which in Hebrew is a third grammatical person noun which means "He is, " in His NT name "Jesus, " for "Jesus" means "Yahweh is Saviour, " which is exactly what the Creator from before the Creation intended to be to humanity & even in a real sense to angels.
Matthew never intended for his account of the Lord Jesus Christ's statements during the Great Commissioning, namely that documented in Matthew 28:19 to be misconstrued as that the Godhood is trifurcated. Apart from that he wrote of exactly what event & speech of Christ Jesus that Mark wrote of in Mark 16 & Luke wrote of in Luke 24 & these latter two statements show Christ Jesus' statement of identity focussed on none but Himself & His own name "Jesus, " Matthew notes "name, " singular, in Matthew 28:19 & before this in verse 18 noted that Christ Jesus identified Himself as the Almighty. There can be only ONE Almighty & He is the ONE! (Consult Isaiah 7:10-14 with Matthew 1:20-23; Isaiah 9:6-7 with John 21:5; Deuteronomy 6:4 with 1 Timothy 3:16, Acts 1:9-11, & Zechariah 14:3-5; John 1:10-12; 20:27-29; Matthew 28:18 -- wherein the Greek δίδωμι, didómi, occurs &, whatever its exact detonation, doesn't diminish the fact that the Lord Jesus Christ is Himself THE ALMIGHTY -- along with Revelation 1:8; Deuteronomy 6:4 & Ephesians 4:5 with John 13:13; John 8:19 & 14:1 & 6-9 with 12:44-45 & Matthew 11:27-30, Luke 10:22, & John 6:43-46 & 65; Philippians 4:13 with Psalm 59:17, 18:2, Exodus 15:2, Isaiah 12:2, et al, & bear in mind the Hebrew words rendered "God" in English themselves meant "Power" or "Strength, " so Paul the apostle is here also identifying Christ Jesus as his GOD; Acts 20:28 with Colossians 1:14-17, 2:8-10, Isaiah 43:10-11, 45:14-15 & 21-22, & Zechariah 8:20-23; Revelation 19:11-16 with Zechariah 14:3-4 & 9, Psalm 145:1, 44:4-5, 74:12, 47:2 & 5-9; Romans 8:9-10 & 2 Corinthians 13:5 with Ephesians 4:6 (similar understanding is in the synoptic Matthew 10:20, Mark 13:9-11, & Luke 21:15, the latter showing the Spirit the obedient are baptized with is Christ Jesus' own Spirit, for the Omnipotent Spirit is His own Spirit & He gives a measure of His Spirit into the obedient & signals that occurrence with kainos glossa, "new tongues, " rf. Mark 16:17); Romans 9:5; Titus 2:13 with Zechariah 14:9; & many more such Scriptural proofs that Jesus Christ is the one & only God.)
It is a sad situation to be far from the Truth, but it is as sad if not sadder to be so close to the Truth & yet not in! Christ Jesus the Almighty bless the season within 1988 when He brought me into Him by obedience to His same commands seen being preached & obeyed in Acts 2:38-39; 9:16-18 with 22:12-16 as well as 1 Corinthians 14:18, 10:44-48/11:13-17, 16:28-34, & 19:1-7, et al!
