Pearl's Anglo Indian Dal Curry, It's packed with flavours of sharpness and spices. Made the Anglo Indian way.
Ingredients
1kg Lamb or Mutton
1 Ladle Spoon Oil
2 Chopped Onion
1 Mug Red Lentils ( Dal )
2 Tbsp Tamarind
3-4 Stalks Curry Leaves

Dry Whole Garam Masala
1 Tsp Cloves
1 Tsp Peppercorns
3-4 Cinnamon Stick

Masala Paste
Full Pod of Garlic
2" Ginger
1 Small Onion
1 Tbsp Rye ( Black Mustard Seed )
1 Tbsp Cumin Seed ( Jeera )
1 Tsp Turmeric Powder
1-2 Tsp Red Chilli Powder

Hi Pearl, I am a single Dad with two kids, I tried to make ball curry last week, tried because I am bad at cooking, it came out good, my daughter liked it, so today I am trying dhal with beef. Hoping to get it good Ive followed all your instructions to the teeee. Thx

Thank you Pearl .I live in Vancouver Canada now. I grew up in Sri Lanka .We had lots of Anglo indians with us.They brought SO much richness to our culture.Sadly the politicians brought in Sinhala only and they all left.They went to Australia. We had very close friends .They were lovely people.
I enjoy watching you cook all these lovely curries.

As the Dhaal curry has so much flavour and added Lamb and Dhaal it is sufficient to eat with the rice. Good combination. Thanks.

This lady is so natural in her cookery skills . Pearl is articulate, and her explanations are so well explained that there certainly is no room for ambiguity. Thank you, I’ve enjoyed watching your videos, and a thought went through my mind of how very fortunate and blessed your husband and children are to have a gifted mother as their cook, and my perception is that you are a balanced wife and indeed a good mother to your children who undoubtedly are brought up to respect their elders and betters, not to mention their parents .

Pearl I made this and I ground the peppercorns, cloves and cinnamon sticks a little less of the cloves and the curry was delish, husband says I can make this anytime. Xx❤
