i'm 52 and my son is 18 so he's not old enough yet to buy me a car but the other day he called me at work and asked what time i was getting home. He cooked salmon on the grill for me.

My dad passed away unexpectedly while on holiday before I could buy him his favourite car. So this really gets to me. Well done to you and God bless you for being such a loving son to your dad. He must be very proud of you.

There is a rare breed of people in this world that just give... not because they expect anything in return, but 'just because' it makes them happy and it feeds their soul see someone they love so happy. (As a giver, I can say some of my most favorite memories are the times I treated someone I love to something they would never have dared to treat themselves to, and seeing them glow with joy that someone thought of them and cared enough to treat them 'just because' they are loved.)
