Amy, thanks to you, I was inspired to attempt my first personal cycling challenge last weekend. It was 61 miles. Nothing compared to your distances but I certainly felt euphoric for it. So keep on inspiring others. You are helping so many people pursue better, healthier lives, both in body and soul :)

Never apologize for how you looked or emotions Amy; you are showing your true authentic side that people can identify with.
Lots of lessons learned, and endurance riders now are realizing that diet is important. You cannot train on specialized food then ride an endurance race eating only stuff you can find along the way. So lesson learned there; maybe ride some eating what you might eat on another similar event to find out what works and doesn't tha train your gut more maybe. Bloody hell though lots of respect for you and just keep those monkey mind thoughts from bothering you. We are all enjoying watching you transform yourself and life into a true adventure of joy and excitement. TTFN back to you lovely soul.

You're the best. Please _try _*_not_*_ to doubt yourself_ so much. You always give a great effort, and your transparency is remarkable. We appreciate the smiles (& the tears)!

After so many miloneys in Italy and on this latest excursion, Pinney must be also in need of some attention. I'm thinking: checking chain for wear and cleaning and lubricating; checking wheel bearings for play, C&L (most people just throw out cartridge bearings, but I've found that cleaning adding a drop of tenacious oil prolongs the life and makes them ride even smoother than new bearings); check all bolts for tightness; check tires for wear and punctures that didn't cause a leak; check derailleur adjustment and alignment (esp. after travel);check saddle for wear and position; deep clean chamois from all that Chammy buttr, lay out in high UV sun; wash insoles and shoes to prevent fungal infections. Congratulations on your accomplishments!

You're multi-talented. You have the fitness to be an endurance cyclist of note and the unique communication skills to influence in the area of strength and determination to overcome depression. I have no doubt that you'll continue to do great things in this area and make a difference. The western world needs real, unaffected positive role models like yourself. Now one request, I miss Nige... he needs to feature in a future video.

Handy things for women to take with them are the Tinkle-belle (no more stinging nettle stings) and a steripen to make stream water safe to drink. Neither of these are big or heavy.

Sensational and in my experience the chamois’s butter you used is the best there is. I rode a 1000km event in 2023 and that brand you used was a game changer for me. I know on a seperate note that you occasionally mention you no longer work as a mental health nurse. The reality is that you actually do through this channel. You just practice in a different way these days. I was a nurse 40 years ago but stopped formally and worked in healthcare in a different role. Deep down however I never really did stop practicing as a nurse as the values and discipline is always wth me as it is with you as a nurse. You practise mental health care through your tremendously honest inspiring social media contribution. Once a nurse always a nurse. Apologies for the long comment I just have to state the obvious as I see it.

Well done again Amy you did so well! My son is an endurance cyclist, he’s done the Silk Road cycle race and the Highland 550 so far this year and I’ve seen the incredible effort he’s puts into his sport, but he’s a strapping lad who cycled all his life and then I see you overcome all your doubts and fears and be so successful and most of all enjoy it, you are inspirational!

I usually do not get emotional, but I was very euphoric when my 10 year old son and I rode the Hotter N Hell 100 mile endurance ride in Texas, USA August 2023. We did it in 5 hours 24 minutes. The ride lived up to its name. But we did it! I let him cross the finish line ahead of me!

Amy, your all points north video was very inspiring, and you should be really proud. Watched it instead of some guff on netflix 😅

You are crushing it Amy! Such an inspiration for me and my wife. We’re working towards some long endurance rides. We have a lot of work to do but we’ll get there. Thank you and keep going!

Right. That's it. Tomorrow I'm jumping on the bike again after not bothering for months feeling stuck in a rut. Thanks for your inspiration, your honesty, your vulnerability.

Katie Kookaburra also felt scared when she first went out at night, having similar fears. AS a guy though, night is my favourite time of day whether it is wildcamping, driving or riding. You also pretty much have the roads to yourself which is so peacefull. With everything pitch dark except the light from your light, wonderfully spooky and atmpospheric.

You are such a natural talking to and in front of a camera! Thanks for being so inspirational. I rode over a few cattle grids at the weekend. I couldn't resist an attempt at one of your sound effects! Don't overstretch yourself, you have nothing to prove to anyone, including yourself. PDP and APN are epics and you demolished them.

I highly recommend getting some flip flops and a tiny microfibre towel tucked away in a bike bag. They really help with random river crossings!
