this is the first video that made me think that we're getting somewhere. an intruder that doesn't need to break and enter and a kidnapping and ransom that never takes place.

The single biggest mistake was the ransom note, in all its vainglorious fairness - length, language, source of pen & paper, practice notes, handwriting, general nonsense. If it wasn't for the ransom note there would be a little wriggle room to entertain an intruder theory, though there would still be big questions even then. But with the existence of the note, the pool of suspects shrinks dramatically.

You really don't have to go too deep with this case.
No overthinking required it is quite simple. There are and always were 3 suspects, and they all live in the house.

First this house is a creepy labyrinth. Father breaks window in basement because he was locked out, but never gets it fixed. House has an alarm, but it was not set that night. As parents our most important job is to protect our children at all costs. No fingerprints on ransom letter? But both parents supposedly read it? Male child is just going on with his life after sister was murdered. Male child was in bed when police arrived and checked house. I would be scared to death to be in that house and my other child would be by my side while looking for the missing child.

I lived in Colorado (born and raised) @ the time and was good friends with a retired judge. He advised me it was an inside job that won't ever be solved. He knew quite a bit about it.

According to James Kolar:

“Mrs. Fernie shared one additional tidbit of information with investigators that had been bothering her. She indicated that late in the summer, or early fall of 1996, she had observed damages to the latch area of an exterior screen door located on the rear, south side of the Ramsey home. Mrs. Fernie was concerned that perhaps a burglary attempt had been made to the home, and shared this information with Patsy.

“They inspected the door, and determined that the interior door exhibited no damages whatsoever. Patsy expressed no concern about the damaged screen door and suggested that perhaps John was responsible for the marks. He reportedly was always forgetting his keys and had broken into the house on other occasions.

“Mrs. Fernie indicated that she had seen a photograph of this same screen door displayed in an advertisement running in one of the Denver newspapers shortly after the murder. The advertisement, placed by Ramsey attorneys and taking up at least half of the page of the newspaper, purported that this may have been a possible point of entry used by the kidnapper of JonBenét.

“This did not sit well with Mrs. Fernie, because Patsy was fully aware that these damages had been inflicted upon the screen door weeks or months prior to the murder of JonBenét. The use of this particular photograph seemed to be an attempt to mislead the public about the evidence associated with the crime and the Fernies indicated that they severed their contact with the family following their observation of that advertisement.”

Hiding JonBenet deep in the wine cellar was a bit like giving her a proper burial.

The intruder was the nicest kidnapper and murderer ever...He was even nice enough to put the grate back in place...Funny he needed the suitcase prop for a step up to get up to the window, but could spider-man up the grate wall to escape...What the heLL was Lou Smit thinking...

Absurd to think John Ramsey would even consider breaking glass & climbing through the basement window when he has numerous friends that have a key!

I assume you all have watched the ‘60 minute program.’ I did have a smile to myself, when the so called ‘Detective’ said “This is what we call a clue.” Regarding the suitcase, broken window, etc. I was also thinking, but was beaten to it. WHY would an intruder want to try and take a kidnapped child out through a broken window from the cellar? As Mr. Spock would say, “That’s not Logical, Captain.”

This case was already solved. A jury voted to indict both parents back in 1999. The DA at the time blocked it. Then a different DA a few years later made it worse. The indictments were unsealed in 2013 and can probably still be found online. It’s been solved.

It's surprising in some ways that this intruder didn't put a nice little lace doily on the stairs to rest the note on, and pop a little floral damask curtain around the crime scene.

John has been paying attention to your Work and others. This is the reason why he has come out in recent History. He knows people are onto him. The Ransom Note never made any sense and I don't believe the theory he gives about how the Ransom Note was made up to frame them. I believe I heard him say that in one of his recent interviews.

I don't see how anyone could buy the intruder theory. Everything about that crime scene was misdirection. Like the oversized suitcase in front of the basement window. The fact that a ransom note was written for a girl who was found dead in the house should enough to debunk it.

What I would like to see is a deeper dive on those marks on Jon Benet's body from the train tracks. How did they get there?

Furthermore, a discussion on Burke's behaviour as a child is something else worth looking into. If he had an undiagnosed/untreated condition and violent tendencies. That could likely mean that the parents would have been charged and found guilty of negligence in some form. From what I know, it sounds like they let Burke run amok and they didn't seem to do much to keep their daughter safe from him.

IDK what was going on in Burke's head at the time. But I do know that it is the parent's responsibility to keep ALL of their children safe.

What’s strange is that John claims he “broke in” to his own house all the time. That’s strange. John claiming he took his clothes off to break in us also strange.

Is it the same housekeeper who claimed she knew who killed Jon Benet? Why didn't she sing? Did she protect an intruder? No, rather somebody who lived in the house. My thoughts. Dad will take the secret to the grave.

It's so frustrating when Paula Woodward discusses points of entry to the crowd, leaving out the very important details that you point out for us. It's so misleading. 🤦🏼‍♀️😡

The true crime here is the fact that they had multiple housekeepers. That place was a disaster. There is no way they had any housekeepers.

How is it possible for the housekeeper to be in the cellar many times and not know about the room jonbenet was found in? Doesn’t this sound strange to anyone?

And lock the the door back at that hitch when leaving .Who would do that?
