Amazing Bumblebees in 4K Slow Motion - 4K Macro

Bumblebees are amazing, so we filmed them in 4k slow motion (Ultra HD) 4K resolution, while they were hard at work.
Bumblebee and other types of bees are extremely necessary in the world to pollinate our food and crops. Bumble bees in particular pollinate crops that other bees do not , that is why they are so important.
This was a very satisfying video to shoot for me since
I am the one who originally brought these bumblebees to our neighborhood in the inner-city , after I brought a few hives about 5 or 6 years back, I now see them all over the neighborhood and because of the markings, I know they are the bees that I brought.
Since I feel a personal connection with these bees I decided to film them in high speed to see exactly what they are up to. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did and if you're looking for a new hobby try beekeeping because of all the things we need we need more bees.

A week ago I was in botanical garden and there was this place full of bees. As this guy was saying something about some plant, I looked down and saw bumble bee picking up something from the floor. It looked very big and heavy for bumble bee to carry it. I swear next moments happened in slow motion. Just as bumble bee picked it up, she immediately flipped over on the side and fell onto the ground. It was the funniest thing ever and the cutest. Ah, I love bumble bees...

Bumblebees are unique in the animal world because they generate lift on both the down-stroke and the up-stroke of their wings. Most other flying creatures have a moment where they're not generating any lift, when their wings are returning to the up position, but bumblebees actually turn their wings in such a way that they generate lift on both up and down strokes, which is why they can fly, despite having such a huge body-to-wing ratio (like a flying cow). ;)
