Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Slams Trump And GOP For Demonstrating Hate And Cruelty

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez criticized the Trump administration during a live broadcast on Instagram, accusing them of 'trying to cage children and inject them with drugs'.

She said that whilst she made mistakes, the administration demonstrated hate and cruelty through their policies.

I definitely believe her that she's the youngest woman ever elected to congress. The only thing I had trouble believing was that she's 29. You could have convinced me she was 16. I don't know many 29 year old professional women who whine and complain and make stupid little videos like this. I am ready for her next video though where she tells me how much she hates her boyfriend that looked at Jocelyn the wrong way and how she wishes her best friend Katie would stop posting on Instagram all of her cute selfies.

Acknowledging that you make mistakes is fine. But continuing to put forth untenable and IMPOSSIBLE ideas and SCOLD others who don't agree with your ideas is not fine. This is the problem. This is the HUBRIS and you can say you are only 29, but please, there have been many many humble and very capable 29 year olds in life, who also make mistakes, but through some humility take even MORE time to learn and listen and adjust. The fact that you got in there, so YOUNG, is a reason to pause and consider WHAT it was that got you in there. It certainly wasn't how much you know... So run with the fact that people liked your energy. Don't conflate it with something like knowing what you are doing.
