That was her third foul on Caitlan Clark in five minutes. Two of the fouls were nasty. Please remember that no one is paying their money to watch Deshields play. Most times, Clark gets hammered and the refs say play on. Her Fever teammates need to step up and protect her. The WNBA needs to realize that she is the number one reason for the surge in ticket sales.

As a black person, I can honestly say our people are some of the biggest haters in society-both men and women. The same folks complaining about CC “only getting attention because she’s white” are literally hating on her BECAUSE SHE’S WHITE 🤦🏿‍♂️ this isn’t about black or white! The girl is cookin! Definitely playing the body and not the ball. It was DeShields’ 3rd foul on her. Her flagrant foul is similar to a linebacker putting their shoulder into a QB after they’ve run out of bounds, then immediately putting their hands up like they let off the contact. Come on! We weren’t born last night!!

I want to see Caitlin walk away the minute her contract expires.
While everyone associated with the WNBA owes her a debt of gratitude, she’s had to endure way too much hate from players and coaches.
She’s set with endorsement money, she needs to tell the WNBA to pound salt ASAP. They’ll realize the very first game, when the seats are empty again, just how much she did for the game.

I'm glad somebody brought this up. DeShields did flagrantly foul Clark 3 times two times when the ball was not in play and just Obviously ran her over the third time. The Chicago coach should be suspended along with DeShields because it's obvious that DeShields was sent in to foul and hurt Clark. The Fever coach just sat there and Clark's team mates didn't do anything either. This is getting out of control as a father of a daughter I don't know how Clark's father is reacting to all of these flagrant fouls. He should get a lawyer and she the WNBA leadership. Those fouls against Clark are not just fouls that happen in the course of a basket ball game they are intentional. Clark's career is at stake if these kind of fouls are not stopped and the only way to do that is hold the players committing them responsible. I'm calling all of Clark's fans to throw whatever is in your hand at the refs the next time a flagrant foul is committed and the refs don't do any thing about it. Let the refs and the WNBA know we are fed up with it!!!

They should have an unsportsmanlike foul in the WNBA so that the whole team gets penalized for actions like this . Knocking CC down was a dick move but it was CLEARLY intentional . Pretending it was an accident makes her a coward .

The WNBA needs to adopt a “persistent infringement” rule like they have in soccer. It’s clear that Caitlin is being targeted and the officiating needs to reflect that. The league better protect the golden goose or go back to being completely irrelevant.
