it's 2020 and I finally managed to make the third mix in the series. 😅

I remember listening to this in 2016 as I studied for my exams. I return every couple of months to listen. Listening now I feel very nostalgic and a bit sad, I think back to 2016 when I was at school not worrying about anything, and all my friends lived close. Now, my friends are all over the place studying at uni, travelling etc. I'm glad everyone is out there getting on with life but I definitely miss those days! I will never stop returning to this mix!

During lockdown, while staying at my parents' house in Devon, I listened to this mix frequently. Having just graduated from university, I felt completely lost. To escape the loneliness, I became obsessed with long-distance running and cycling, and I remember playing this mix a couple of times a week for months.

This is the first time I've listened to it in three years. Since then, my life has moved forward: I worked in London for 2.5 years and recently moved to Arizona. Music has always been my coping mechanism for life's stresses. To anyone who is struggling, just keep pushing on and working to better yourself. Don't give up!

Discovered this mix 4 years ago when i went through a dip at work ... I was just not my best self .. used to listen to it every time i travelled long distance for work and whenever I just needed a mental break . 4 Years later .. same company, got a huge promotion, moved to Cape Town (my dream city), 2 Awards and a Healthier Me :) If only my 20 something year old self new back then, that whatever it was that I was going through was preparing me for the personal and professional breakthrough that was around the Corner ..
