Congrats to the effort on bringing the subject to public. An amazing lady, committed to the subject, putting a complex subject in simple terms, brilliant. 🙏. A neglected Sastra since independence for just being an Indian knowledge system. Had our Engineering curriculum were having this subject in the syllabus from 1947 today's India would have been a different one. At least it is commendable that an effort has been made by IIT Gandhinagar to bring out such knowledge systems and Experts before public. Congrats and continue the efforts to bring every Indian knowledge system to the forefront so that all the people and experts who has preserved and updated the knowledge systems for thousands of years are duly honoured for their relentless efforts. Introspection on what level of ingratitude has been done to our ancestors in this context is heart breaking 🙏

An excellent lecture. Now I am actually starting to grasp what Vaastu is - and what tosh is thrown around in its name in popular culture.

I had been to Ellora a few decades back and am even today awed by the architectural wonder of standing in the stunningly tall Kailash temple. I am reminded of it each time I see an "ugh" looking building in our country, or worse, when buildings barely a few decades crumble and old fall off.
