not really a fair test, i'm assuming the triple glazing was just installed recently whereas the double was installed yrs ago, windows loose there effectiveness over time.

Very poor and misleading. "Standard double glazing" is meaningless unless you state when it was installed (Building regs compliance has changed widely over the years) and what the U values were of the standard DG.

As an example the best double glazing sealed unit on the market today has a U value of 0.7 and the best triple glazing is 0.5 (correct me if I'm wrong) so the difference of 0.2 is very small when you consider the extra cost of triple glazing, warranty length varies widely and Upvc thermal efficiency compared to Timber is dire. So many differentials makes this completely misleading and Everest should be bought to task over this. Disgraceful.
