SO BASICALLY, it's not Riot developers comes together and decided to make a new mod for beloved players - it just one guy make it at free time and NOW riot getting all the credits.
And they're don't want to implement it in the first place the guy just convinced the management ! It says alot about this company.

I can't believe i'm saying this, but if we take a look at Fortnite or Overwatch, those games have AMAZING custom gamemodes and features. If riot enabled players to create their own gamemodes (which they wont), then the game will be ever more casual friendly. The problem with league, is that while the competitive and ranked scene is striving, your casual player who wants to play a normal game is reduced to playing aram, because thats the only "chill" gamemode, which isn't overly competitive. Swarm and Arena is kinda fixing that, if they could add more gamemodes like those, i believe league could get more casuals

Damn, i remember Sirhaian back in the day when he was "only" doing custom VFX on his own designed skins and i remember him replying to a question about him getting into Riot team with him probably never going to be able to be in Riot lol, i'm proud of him that he got this far

Crazy how a billion dollar company cant make a game mode but when a solo developer works on it on his free time suddenly they are right on making it

Sounds like for Riot to give players what they have been asking for for years the developers have to make the mode in their freetime themselves and then beg and plead with Daddy Riot to add something that isn't just a cash grab. That's crazy, but not surprising.

It's crazy how one guy with an actual passion for videogames singlehandedly saved League of Legends. Almost as if you will make an amazing game if want to actually make a game and not just squeeze your players for money.

Even though it's true that Necrit pointed out that we needed more game modes in League, but what he especially pointed out is that we lacked a CASUAL game in League. Every existing game/mode is competitive, even Aram. So this was really something that was missing for the huge audience that just want to chill with less stress (although this game presents another kind of stress, but at least not the same).

I'm happy and sad at the same time, That it takes years and a person to make a game mode out of their free time (I know he likes it, Kudos to him doing it for the community) instead of gathering people to establish a team for PVE Game modes.

They also need to make a new engine at this point, I'm amazed at this guy making a game mode inspired from another game genre and implemented some elements in league.

Sirhaian is a beast when it comes to putting in over 100%. Even before this gamemode he often posted changes to VFX that he made on his own time.

The Zed Shadow weeping angel's mechanic was Amazing im kinda sad it didnt make it as the belveth event, if they like disappeared when ur not looking at them that'd be terrifying

Ah man it would be so cool if Riot added the ability to create your own Gamemode in the League engine, so everyone can just play with it like Sirhaian.

Its crazy to me how he had to make the prototypes in his free time and how it took a lot of convincing for higher ups to pick it up and make something out of it.
To me this tells me everything about how bad these higher ups probably are at their jobs.
Their entire purpose is to find fun ideas, talented developers and mash them together to create something good but all I see here is a layer of resistance.
