The Melodyne ARA Pro Tools Track Hack

In this video, Dan Cooper from Pro Tools Expert shows you a very clever workaround tip to Melodyne ARA in Pro Tools. Studio One users know this feature well, now it's time for Pro Tools users to benefit from a faster Melodyne transfer / Pro Tools workflow.

Users must use Melodyne 4.1 and Pro Tools 12.3 and above for this hack to work.

One thing this video misses is that if you hit undo right after the extra track is created, it will get rid of the track, yet maintain all of the imported audio in Melodyne.

This makes a copy of the audio file, which is going to increase the size of your session A LOT (and make your sessions run much slower unless you remove all the duplicate clips). A better solution is to run AudioSuite version then copy preset to regular version
