Ιερός Ναός Αγ. Σπυρίδωνα - Church of St. Spyridon

Με ιστορία από το 1700 ο ναός του Αγ. Σπυρίδωνα θεμελιώθηκε γύρω στο 1836 στη θέση όπου βρισκόταν η Μονή του Αγ. Σπυρίδωνα , η οποία ήταν καλά οχυρωμένη, με πολεμίστρες και ήταν από τις μονές που κράτησαν στα δύσκολα χρόνια της Οθωμανικής Αυτοκρατορίας. O Αγ. Σπυρίδων είναι ο πολιούχος της πόλης του Πειραιά.

With a history from 1700 the church of St . Spyridon founded around 1836 at the site where it was the monastery of St. Spyridon , which was well fortified , with loopholes and was one of the monasteries that kept the orthodox flame burning through the difficult years of the Ottoman Empire. St. Spyridon is the patron saint of the city of Piraeus.
