Andor was the best show of 2022 for me. The acting, the plot, the writing, the music… They were utterly amazing. The best product Lucasfilm has ever thrown out!

Clear and simple: Iger comes back, doesn't want anymore mess from KK. Now there is a big purge of Kennedy projects before she leaves. They're gonna start a new chapter at the LucasFilm, Favreau & Filoni will have more influence and we'll see what happens next.

I think that Star Wars is at its best when it takes itself a little more seriously. I actually think they should follow more in Andor’s footsteps. Not everything has to be as mature but there should be more of it.

We’ve also seen that Bad Batch can really be amazing when it takes itself and it’s subject matter seriously. The Crosshair episodes have been dark and emotional and impactful.

It all starts with Kathleen Kennedy who is the supposed leader. She may be a great producer but she is definitely a bad leader. I am actually surprised this was the only lawsuit after all the director firings.

I totally loved Andor, but if it became the template for all Star Wars shows I would stop watching them. It would be like someone say all cars from now on had to be blue. I'd run down to my hardware store, buy some red paint and go to town. Andor is what it is, a dark drama set in the Star Wars universe, where as Mandalorian is an action adventure set in the same universe.

If I wasn't convinced before, I am now. Lucasfilm is a mess of a studio right now. Hell, even with all the mind-boggling decisions I think Lucas made, things ran so smoothly back when he was in charge. I don't know if it's Kennedy making poor decisions, Disney's over sight, or whatever but this is crazy. I hope everything gets resolved somehow.

I just wonder how difficult is it to provide a reason for firing someone? Is Kathleen really the kind of person who can't even tell the person face to face that they're fired? This doesn't look good. But let's wait for more info to come out.

I'm grateful for Mandalorian. It's awesome. Hopefully Lucasfilm can get it's house organized and united soon, and then maybe they will release a sensible roadmap going forward.

Apparently Disney had a mandate during the pandemic to not create or take new outside pitches for new shows for Disney+. Only stuff that was pre agreed upon was going to get made at the time. Kathleen Kennedy went behind Disney's back and decided to create a new Star Wars show and hired the lady that is suing. If anything, Kathleen Kennedy should be sued for going behind Disney's back to make the show and putting this woman in this predicament.
