The journalist thinks he can push Elon Musk but it only makes him look stupid.

A 100mph electrically powered car hits an object VS. A 100mph car filled with gallons and gallons of a highly flammable liquid known as "Gasoline" that also hits an object.

Hmmm let me think, this is a tough one……..

The interviewer seems to ignore what Elon is saying...

I feel Tesla bags on other manufacturers and takes an immature approach when they are threatened. I wish they would grow up a little. If you want people to support your green efforts then do your part and support other's efforts as well.

The sport coupe was novel and fast!

The Model S is a nice car.

The Model X has to go and is gimmicky. I like the look but not the doors. The demo was not impressive. Wings belong on exotic cars and the Delorean not on family cars...just saying. With regular doors you can squeeze out in a tight spot without dinging your neighbor. How are you suppose to squeeze out with this. Public garage vertical clearances? Keep it simple silly. A hinge on a regular door works fine and won't break like this contraption will ($$). The list goes on. A for creativity though.

its just basic science  Li-ion battery burn in fire with water or moisture leaks in.  keep it mind it will only burn, NOT explode...like gas.       Only really really slow or stupid people can possibly get hurt or die from Li-ion battery fire.  if someone's reaction time is that slow 15min plus to stop and get out from the car they really should not drive.

A petrol car only has two places where a fire will break out, the fuel tank and the engine bay. The Tesla on the other hand can catch fire basically anywhere where the wiring goes which is everywhere. The rush to get electric cars into production has seen safety put into the back seat

The powers that be are doing exactly like they did Tucker, stirring up hate against a superior vehicles, we all drive passed a car fire at least a few times a year & never pay mind what kind of car it is. I'm a mechanic who've repaired & still repairs damage from car fires.

My friend bought a brand new VW Jetta and the very first time he plugged it in in the winter (1-2 months after purchasing) it not only burnt the car to the ground but the garage and the other car in the garage as well!  That was the second VW owned by people I know, that burnt from plugging in during the winter months!!

I've watched many interviews, and made asumption that everybody is against elon, but hes making his way out. Stupid what not... but gas companies are losing alot of money because of eletric cars, i think they want elon to fail thats why there is alot of negative reports/comments against elon. I would like to see what future holds, there are already prototype batteries that don't need to recharge for 40 years or so... imagine if cars had these batteries, so you would drive free... that would cost billions of dollars to gas companies... maybe we are not ready for eletric cars yet, but elon made great desicion starting it now, i think by 2030 tesla gonna be the biggest car company in the world.

He will just improve it in time.
People didn't gave up on cars when there were no securised glass for cars and drivers got mutilated when glass broke.

If it were Zuckerberg, I think he would answer "congressman, I am not sure what exactly you mean with the word 'fire'".

I wonder if Martin Winterkorn was also "startled" over getting fired from VW over the emissions scandal that took place under him

What really pisses me off is that the guy at the top of VW, who recently resigned due to the emission scandal can say he is startled by an electric fire. 250, 000 gasoline cars go up each year.

There’s a difference between asking sharp questions and being a jerk.

The question i would ask the plastics and metals in these evs are they sourced out from old ice cars granulated pelletised and remoulded ?? Or plastics made from scratch from Crude oil again ?? If thats the case then its not really environmentally friendly not all what it seems

Hi guys, what do you expect when you use standard cells with a cathode of LiNiCoAlO2?
All other serious EV's use LiMn2O4 or LiFePO4 batteries for safety reasons. Regarding the fact that the huge battery is mounted at the undercarriage for an easy swap and just being armoured by an quater inch aluminium plate, fire incidents triggered by intrusions of road debris will happen again with high probability!

HAHAHAHA Martin Winterkorn and this interviewer :D :D I want that Elon redoes this interview and discusses how he is now startled that VW cheated.
