The fact that a grown man’s decision made a grown man cry on television 💀

If LeBron, the media & The NBA would have *NEVER* tried to put LeBron *AHEAD OF* Michael Jordan, *THE HATE* towards LeBron would've been kept to a minimum.

The moment Lebron made Space Jam 2 he solidified himself as MJs shadow.

Lebron was actually well loved before he left cleveland. People started hating him when he formed the superteam with bosh and wade.

Because LeBron had to grow up as a player in the age of social media and Jordan did not. This is the actual answer.

When Michael Jordan retired, the NBA went into a tailspin. LeBron James plays in the NBA has been on a perpetual downswing.

The thing is, is MJ was COOL. When i was a little kid he was my idol. I watched every bulls game i could just to see him play. And not to mention space jam. Every kid looked up to him and wanted to be him... cant say the same about lebron lol

I just think that ppl can tell Lebrón is a bit of a narcissist and that turns them off to him a bit. He’s always TRYING to be loved, but really that’s not the best way. Jordan just played and won, and was himself: never called himself the goat or anything and ppl sung his praises for him

This is so spot on. I also believe that his self-proclamation of "I am the G.O.A.T." raised a lot of eyebrows too. Very disrespectful to NBA elders who paved the way to modern NBA.

The fact that he called himself king and he has a tattoo which says chosen one let’s you know he brought some of the hate to himself

It's about checked ego. MJ had an ungodly ego, maybe even more than LeBron. He kept it in check though. That's not an act of deceit, it's an act of discipline. The work he displayed always surpassed the ego he displayed. LeBron's ego display often contends closely, at times even surpassed it.

I respect the heck outta LeBron, but he could never replace MJ's status as the greatest in my headspace.

I feel like he wanted that power because in his early Cavs days the management time and time again let him down. Which led him to join Miami. He was being cocky for that not 1, not 2 interview. Also I admit he did get a bit mad with power and it cost him a few times. The China situation too because he should of stood on what he said even if financially you will take a hit because it def perceived him as fake. Imo he should focus on being the best version of LeBron James instead of chasing another man. Once Kobe got outta that mindset he started to make his own identity

He tries controlling the narrative through media.
Jordan "showed us"
Lebron "tells us"

The way the fans showed love for MJ vs. LeBron in the 75th anniversary in 2022 is all you need to see. They may appreciate LeBron in Cleveland but they Revere Jordan.

It's actually so true. Being the goat is about image backed with stats. Look what happend to CR7 with his controversy and now Leo Messi is clearly a winner.

You can't teach personality. Lebron is that guy who tries so hard to be cool and smart, which he is neither.

In the 90's. Everyone, myself included, who can dribble and shoot a basket ball wanted to be like Mike. Can't say the same in LeBron's time.

Hate him? Not hardly. I also think he's one of the best to ever do it.

But he's got a list of gaffes from running his mouth too much, lying thru his teeth, and not checking that gigantic ego at the door.
