RAPID BAY CAMPGROUND - SOUTH AUSTRALIA

Beachfront camping for only $9 a night!! This campground on the Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia is EPIC!!

The water is amazingly blue and calm, perfect for swimming with there kids. Surrounded by valleys and cliffs that drop into the ocean, this place is a must see when your travelling OZ!!

Oh wow!! You brought back wonderful memories of my childhood. In the early 60’s my family would drive down from Adelaide and spend the day at Rapid Bay, hanging out in the cave with my cousins....those were wonderful times...i have 8mm movies of those events that I need to get put on a DVD❤️🇦🇺❤️🇦🇺

Been there once, bloody beautiful spot. I met a fisherman on the pier, and he gave me the history on the place. Him and his wife travel around from QLD. Said he keeps coming back here.

Went there and I could not sleep at all, the amount of generators people leave on in the night. Would prefer to stay at blowhole beach, that place is a gem.

Rapid Bay is nice, but I think it's become a victim of its own popularity. Nice on weekdays, but on weekends and holidays - forget about it.
