Very nice lesson.

I was mental arithmetic champion in Texas but had never learned abacus methods.

I plan to start teaching this to any new students. Even though this is not particularly the way I think when it comes to numbers, this looks extremely effective for kinesthetic or visual learners.

Those in particular are the students that often have difficulty in lessons even though they may have great computational brains.
