Just to point out that an EverSD is going for about $45 on top of the $60 for a super pocket. There are way cheaper options with a better experience out there.

I've just bought a Taito Super Pocket and the EverSD is already on my radar. It's a nice product to expand your game library!

My collection builder loads the menu sideways too. Hope this can be fixed. Not a deal breaker since the games do play correctly

so how do you back up cartridges on super pocket (n.b. I only have a super pocket and none of the other systems).. would be nice to see you do a tutorial on how to use it... I would be interested in an ever SD.. but need to see it working first

Johnny Depp encourages pirates at sea.

Joking aside, the ability to sideload opens the door to support purchased ROMs from indie devs. That's a pretty cool additional feature beyond the reassurance of back ups.

Your collection builder script needs an update! The current version properly handles the SP's native portrait screen. The current version also has the ability to turn off and on cartridge updates to your collection builder sdcard so blaze cart updates can be blocked.
I also have a seperate "app" for SP that allows owners of only the SP to make cart backups - no VS required. Both of these are available in the EverSD discord.

Indeed, helpful updates! I remember you using that handheld in a short or two

That's cool and all but I don't even have the time to play the inbuilt games on my Taito Super Pocket :-) Keep up the awesome work!

Here’s the previous video where I talked about the topic of Ever SD.

Is EverSD only available directly from them? Are there any U.S distributors for EverSD

I really need to buy an EverSD. I don't care about another device that plays RetroArch (I have so many) but a cart that can backup all my Evercade cartridges in one that'd be cool.

Planning on buying an EverSD at some point, and now that the Super Pockets are supported (I have the same Taito one) it might be even more tempting. Now, I was (and still am) mostly interested in the EverSD to simply backup my collection (which is about 50 carts so far), but I admit that being a fan of the Super Pocket form factor.... maybe I'll use it for combining all my carts into one.

But some comments here got me thinking.... I mean, I think most people buying an EverSD continue to buy Evercade cartridges. We know that. No one is buying an Evercade console and an EverSD to play "unlicensed" content as there are much better and more cost-effective alternatives to do that out there. But my question is... what do game companies themselves think about this? Could the existence of the EverSD be seen by some companies as an argument against releasing their games on the Evercade platform? If I was running such a company, I wouldn't care and would gladly release my games on Evercade carts, but I'm not these companies so I don't know....

But I know that in my case, an EverSD would be kind of an "insurance policy" in light of the ton of bricked carts out there. Haven't got any bricked cart yet, but I'm sure I will at some point. So the EverSD will make me continue to buy Evercade carts, knowing I'll be able to back them up. Not having one would probably make me a LOT more hesitant to continue buying Evercade carts. In a sense, Blaze kind of NEED the EverSD to exists. Otherwise, I think a lot of people would have abandoned ship by now. In a sense, I'll be buying an EverSD to keep myself buying more Evercade carts.

I really like the Super Pocket but my 'man hands' hate the controls. But now I'm super excited to hack that firmware!

How stable are gameboy advance games on it?

You said "ability" 16 times during this video not counting the time it appeared on screen.

He who dares wins lol. Just like the early 2000's again, DS and an R4 card style but now for Super Pocket instead. 😉
