Whatever money Vince gave them for settlement it was absolutely worth it

That there really hurt WCW, they should've let em in. It would not only have been EPIC, but it would've made WCW not look weak.

That was the true competition. Not like WWE vs AEW fictional competition.

We are never going to witness anything like this again. Blessed to see this live on television

When WCW closed, we all lost. The competition is what made both companies great.

Let's not talk about eric revealing the ending of a show. That definitely couldn't have hurt the WWE.

Vince has controlled the narrative for 20 years. And WCW still lives on despite his best efforts. And in '22 WWE would do anything to replicate the excitement and crowd reactions of Nitro.

WCW didn’t start handing out free tickets until Vince Russo took over creative in late 1999.

That lawsuit is the perfect example of... "Won the Battle but Lost the War" 😂 vince Russo & his clowns 🤡

WWE fans hate it but WCW is the reason WWE had to become more mature. WWE has always been for a PG audience until WCW made them change. Then WWE started getting all there mid-low card guys and made them into Main eventers. Similar to what Impact or what AEW is doing. That how you know WWE was behind.

Wasn’t one of the stories was that when they pulled up to the event in the tank that no one wanted to open door except for Haku

Technically, not a lie. They said WCW was giving free tickets to fill out their shows. That doesn't mean the tickets to that specific show were free.
Sure, it was implied but implied isn't exactly slander, is it? Isn't that why people can discuss cases without getting sued because they say "allegedly".

IDK, I'm not a lawyer.

Nah that’s 100 percent true. I personally got free tickets with my buddy to nitro when we were kids back then
They did it to fill the arena for the tv taping

The guy we see triple H talking to who says "No sir I got them for free" is actually the son of the man who loaned the military jeep to WWE. The man who loaned the jeep was also the driver.

Fun Fact: The kid in the blue jacket who says "hell no I got em for free" his dad was the one who owned and drove the Jeep DX was in

WWE settling that lawsuit is like me putting a quarter in a stranger's parking meter.

WCW should not have sold out to anyone. Unless it was a buyer who wanted to continue the business as it was. It gave fans more options. Early 80s, GCW looked like a wrestlin show, while the WWF looked like a flying circus. Competition always makes shows better by upping their game.
