I’ve been a walking Deacon for over six years. In 2023, I lost my job. So I couldn’t give financially as to which I was accustomed to. For almost a year, my finances were dependent upon the help of those in my Church. So I gave my time to my Church and helped them anyway that I could. Three days before the year ended, I was ready to give up and walk away from everything. And God stepped in and blessed me with employment that allowed me to give not only to my Church but to those in need. It is a practice that I continue to this day and I’ve learned to give generously because when you give to the poor, you give to God and he will bless you. My life has changed for the better. My faith has been strengthened. My prayer has been answered. And as long as I live and breathe, I will continue on this path of giving and doing Gods will. Because prayer works and God will listen when you are sincere. “Amen beyond forever!” 😇
