Chadwick Boseman’s 2021 Oscars Snub & Anthony Hopkins Win Sparks Outrage

A lot of viewers were shocked this year watching the 2021 Academy Awards. Many thought the Oscar award for Best Actor would have went to the late Chadwick Boseman for his role in “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.” But to many people’s dismay, Anthony Hopkins won for his role in “The Father” and didn’t even attend the show or have a speech. The order of awards being announced was also rearranged this year, traditionally Best Picture is the last announcement but this year it was set to end on the Best Actor reveal, seemingly like the producers thought Boseman was set to win.

There is no outrage and Academy never really cared about twitter army anyway. It is just sad that he could not attend from Wales at 4AM otherwise that would have been a great speech in his pyjamas.

If any of those who are now complaining like entitled children had at least one relative who's struggling with Alzheimer's, they would have no reason to complain. Sir Anthony Hopkins' performance was brilliant, it brought me to tears. I've been unfortunate enough to see both of my grandparents suffering from the disease. Yes, Chadwick was terrific, God bless his soul, but Anthony's performance spoke to my heart and soul. His Academy Award was well deserved.

I was rooting for Chadwick Boseman to win the Oscar but when I wanted to see what all the fuss was about and saw The Father the night before, I said to myself oh Anthony Hopkins performance blew me away especially at the end. That's when I knew that they was going to give the Oscar to Anthony Hopkins. Wished it was a tie. But both Chadwick and Hopkins are legendry actors!
