Class act. Gave all credit to his opponents, never criticised his own team. Already saw ways to improve himself, his mindset and his tactics... This is how people get better, they suffer a loss.

That wasn’t a defeat. That was total and utter domination in every aspect.

Carlo Ancelotti gracious in defeat, he knew his Madrid team were outclassed by a superior City. Never making any excuses, he is a world class manager. His presence is missed in the EPL that for sure.

Carlo is a legend and I give him massive respect for their season last year and his ability to push this shaky team this far this year. My god how good will they be next year if they have good signings.

Unlike Madrid fans, most of their players and Carlo are class. Respect.

Anyone can be gracious in victory but true class comes with grace in defeat

I find it interesting that when British football fans and media see Ancellotti, Guardiola and Zidane they see shamans, mystical footballing geniuses able to seeemingly articulate profound footballing insights and command instant respect from fans and players alike and yet when the same British fans see Lampard and Gerrard they see chancers, blagging their way into management based on their glorious playing days and contacts made along the way.

And yet Zindane, Ancellotti and Guardiola all started as players too! It seems perfectly natural, when seen from afar, that a club playing legend should evolve into a club managing legend.

And yet we DESPISE anyone trying to follow the same path here in the UK.

Its no wonder there are so few highly successful English managers. We want them to fail BEFORE theyve even picked a squad. In Europe it seems the opposite is true.

WHY IS THAT?!?!?

I like carlo as a manager, he's obviously one of the greats. But the first half was inexcusable. I don't care how good of a team city are Real Madrid should not be allowing them to have that much of the ball and when getting it, losing it instantly.
