The Russian critic would be well advised to stay away from windows on any floor other than ground level. Also avoid drinking tea with strangers.

I love the humor and determination of Ukrainians in these hard times. It's sad that they understand the the west might "loose interest". Dear Ukrainians, I have NO PROBLEM "suffering" high energy prices when the alternative is seeing Ukrainians suffer in blood. 100% support to Ukraine from Sweden 🕊🇸🇪❤🇺🇦

Watch the full clip if you get a chance. That guy was literally threaten on TV for talking against the government. Everything he said was pretty spot on as well. It's the first time I have seen that propaganda show turn on each other that badly.

Big difference between Brezhnev and Putin: Brezhnev was ruling the USSR. Putin is ruling Russia. Russia hasn’t been part of the USSR for 30 years, in fact, all young Russians today never experienced life in the USSR. Putin is trying to impose Soviet control over people that never lived in a brutal Soviet system. I am hopeful the young people will throw off the Soviet yoke and reform the constitution back to the way it was before Putin corrupted it.

The problem with this analysis, is that the war is not occurring in isolation. Sanctions on russia is beginning to show a dire effect on the national economy, as well as affecting the ability for them to wage an effective war on Ukraine - just one example, they are unable to secure advanced micro switches and circuits for manufacturing needed precision guided missiles from the US and Japan (while Ukraine is receiving such systems).

I have a feeling that after the fall of the Soviet Union and Russians having a taste of a more normal life, it will not take nearly as long for things to unravel for Putin. I am willing to conjecture that he will be gone before the end of this year. Afghanistan was thousands of miles away. Ukraine is next door and would be like if we invaded Canada or even Mexico. Putin is toast, sooner than later.

"Keep it up boys, you're doin' great!" Says a 'near arctic' China as it fairly salivates at the sight of Russia picking up the soap it keeps dropping.

The trolls are still active in the youtube chat... i guess it's cheaper to attack in the chat, than to conduct an actual war.

There often comes a point, just prior to an underdog victory where the stronger but losing team starts to devolve into arguing and finger pointing and it just falls down the stairs and crumbles from there. Russia is at that point now.
