The snorkels with the purge valves are worthless since you can't use the valve without your finger to plug up the hole on top. Bent tube is much better and much easier to clear. I always use them for my kicking drills rather than the kick board because to use the kick board, you use bad body position/posture and can't properly engage your hips.

I have a question, is it possible to practice swimming using side mounted snorkel instead of front mounted ones? The side mounted ones are mostly full dry system

I wonder that I become a dependent on snorkel because with a snorkel I can swim many laps of breastroke without getting tired, but without a snorkel I am so tired and neck pain just swimming one lap? So I can use snorkel all time when swimming as an assistant tool for work out?

I am using TYR snorkel. I have big problem because water comes into my mouth. How can I do to avoid this? Should I change other snorkel with mouthpiece bigger? Thank you.
