George Kahumoku Jr & Norton Buffalo - 'Aloha Oe' @SlackKeyShow Maui

George Kahumoku Jr and Norton Buffalo perform "Aloha 'Oe" from their album "From Paradise." This video was made at SnowGhost Studios in Whitefish Montana when they were invited to come up and record.

From Paradise refers to George being from Maui (obviously a paradise), and Norton being from Paradise, CA. Norton played harmonica and sang vocals with the Steve Miller Band for many years and also played with Bonnie Raitt, the Doobie Brothers, Charlie Musselwhite, and many other famous musicians and groups.

It was such a pleasure for George to work with this incredibaly talented musician. We miss him tremendously.

Norton was on our Grammy nominated album "The Spirit of Slack Key Guitar" playing "Hawaiian War Chant" with George from our live Slack Key Show on Maui. It was a very dynamic song which has been re-released on Georgeʻs more recent album "Reminiscing".
