A new war is being waged, not on traditional battlefields, but within the walls of factories, server farms, and government offices. In this modern conflict, lines of code and nano-circuits carry more power than tanks ever could. The United States and China are locked in a fierce struggle for technological dominance, and the outcome of this battle will shape the future of innovation, global security, and the economy.

Even before the latest escalation in trade tensions, the US and China were already locked in a high-stakes rivalry for control of the tech frontier. From competing innovation strategies to national investments in critical infrastructure, the two powers have long seen technology as the key to global influence.

In this episode of NexTech, we explore how the two nations measure up across several key technological sectors. We examine the semiconductor race, where the US is working to restrict China’s chip development while China strives to close the gap. We also take a closer look at the competition in artificial intelligence and supercomputing, assessing which country is leading the way in these rapidly evolving fields. Additionally, we delve into the electric vehicle and green technology sector, comparing how Tesla and Hongqi are driving the future of EVs and luxury automotive innovation.

The battle for technological supremacy is underway, and the outcome will determine who leads the digital age.

China already won in many ways!
-they do trades with a hand shake.
-leaders are talking with sincere and respect.
-they treat small and large countries with equal rights.
-they produces things that poor countries have the opportunity to buy.
-China doesn't use military force to do business.
-now, China produces high tech with half the price.
- China is always learning and listening.

China let Tesla to sell in China freely.
Washington blocks BYD to sell in the US.
That says it all, where China is comfortable with their EV advancement to let Tesla sells in China,
but the US is scared shitless to compete with Chinese EV in the US market.

China is way ahead, and the difference is only getting bigger by days.

Huawei with all the American unfair sanctions and bans, it has still stood strong against all the storms.

You cannot compare Apple to Huawei. Apple is just a user device producer, while Huawei actually also produce the 5G and 6G network infrastructure. I work in this industry, so when it comes to tech, Huawei is way above Apple.

People are still in a dilemma that either US is better or China in tech industry, Chinese had already compete them in every aspect. US is putting 100% tariffs on Chinese products but this will not affect their dominancy over the world.

ONE THING I HATE ABOUT THE WORLD SAYING "THE US AND CHINA TRADE WAR"..., THERE IS NO TRADE WAR, WHAT WE REALLY HAVE IS "ONE AMERICAN TRADE STUPIDITY"..., NOTHING MORE, NOTHING MORE...

No one was even talking about China with regards to tech 10-15 years ago. We can see the trajectory the country is on. I wouldn’t be surprised if they invented something to revolutionize humanity in the next century.

Japan's "lost decade" was a direct result of a trade policy the USA forced on Japan and Germany at the time to save US companies from the competition.

I follow what is happening in China quite closely. Quite frankly, the US (and the collective West) just can't compete with China. China has effective government and a clear, organized vision of where it is going. It has the best infrastructure in the world. It is the number one investor and user of renewable energy and is leading a revolution in that area. Its EVs will wipe out the legacy auto sector in the world in just a few years. It is leading in most of the cutting edge technologies. What the US is facing in China is a power that is already bigger than the US. That was never the case with the USSR.The Chinese government truly serves the people, not the capitalists.

Thank you for your insight. I'm not as optimistic as you, the tariffs have not impacted and the market was clearly manipulated to pump and dump . The net effect as evidenced by the bond markets and large bond holders are liquidating at pace . The market remains highly vulnerable to manipulation -a pause on china tariffs could catapult the market 3000 points. The Play remain intra day based on news, the longer term outlook is one of complete collapse if tariffs remain in place. My advice to anyone feeling the heat in This trade wars, just trade long term more than ever, I have made over $540k from Day trading with Mrs Barbra in few weeks, this is not a bad alternative during this crash.

Teslas are now officially overpriced, overrated, overhyped, obsolete and outdated.
