All coins are the same until you do your research. When I did extensive 12 months research into the market I ended up with HBAR. Maybe the price doesn't move as much but less risky than many top coins and also great stak8ng programme. I belive in this project for the future

Nuance: token returning to circulation isn't bad if the demand outpaces the supply. Utility growth in and of itself is still relevant, even if the token capture circulates back to supply.

I think your missing the point utility is everything as you are incentivised to stake. The nodes are paid to secure and the income of the network is distributed. If I stake and the return is 1c per Hbar per year then at current prices that 25% at 5c. This will have a positive effect on price. Businesses will never hold more Hbar then what is needed to transact. If I were a hedge fund I was stake as much as I could knowing return. As more companies transact the more each Hbar stake will earn. Supply and demand will balance for this

The fact that all the tx-fees are absorbed by the nodes was making me think as well. For now I came to the conclusion that this will likely be adjusted in the future but for now, it seems like quite a good marketing move to keep all those big names "entertained" as this makes it quite visible how the network is actually being used plus gives board-members more or less a free playground to try HBARs features.

One of the best analysis pieces I’ve ever seen on how value disperses or accrues to the token based on its tokenomics. Nobody talks about this. Would love to see similar treatment for other top L0s, L1s and L2s

I hold some optimism that if only minimal value accrues to HBAR, the community could vote to change its tokenomics to be more favorable, like what Ethereum did with the EIP-1559 burn mechanism, or some other scheme
