A power brick is a must. You never know when one of your devices is about to run out of battery and you might not have access to a wall plug.

What if you need to charge a device and there’s no wall outlets around…….This is why you should have some sort of battery bank in your bag too👍🏻Awesome video it’s always nice to see what other people carry in their bag.

Something I grew quite fond of are the Grid-It organizers from Cocoon. These are really great when you have a big pouch and a bunch of items that you'd otherwise just dump in it.

Chain stitch the cable so you have both working ends close at hand and quickly access just the cordage you need. LOVE YOUR videos. Keep up the great work

Good list of items. Many of the things I tend to carry myself. I got an Analogue Pocket back in August and yes, retro gaming is a blast. Highly recommended!

I like to keep a sharpie or 2 in mine so I can write on more surfaces than what a pen can. and a pack of post-it notes to go along with a note pad/book

Is it just me or did something go sideways with the editing on this video?

Thoroughly enjoyed this. My EDC pack got broken apart and dispersed into my truck or office a while back. It's been on my mind to repack/update. Keep up the great work!

Solid video! Beauty of EDC is while there is commonly accepted ideas, many people cater to their own lives. My biggest disagreement is the battery pack. Having a solid battery pack in your EDC backpack is truly a must in my opinion. I carry a couple USB A and C bricks and cords for multiple devices (for me and others) and it takes up a fraction of the space in one of my two interior mesh pocket. I’d argue it takes up less space than your plug in extension/multi charging cable and long cord setup. This isn’t me throwing any disrespect but the beauty of a battery pack is there’s no need for outlets and any hikes, emergencies or daily use comes with knowing you’ll always have your lifeline open to you because you can charge it right from your pack. Not to mention the mobile side of it. No need to stay stationary and be stuck in place waiting for a charge. Whereas deciding not to carry a battery pack and instead a charging cable, it assumes you’ll have access to a charging location.

A lot of cool stuff for sure and thanks for sharing. For me I’ve made a concerted effort to stop acquiring so much gear. It’s just an endless rabbit hole. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Duct tape wrapped around an old credit card, small emergency TP, and a little food like a protein bar and beef jerky.

Starting to notice these videos are all the same now. Same gear just in a different carrying method… car, backpack, pocket, ect

Great video! So my recommendation is seasonal clothing/cover. So winter I keep spare wool socks, wool hat and gloves. Summer I might have a cooling towel, sunscreen and a boonie just as a backup. I get sweaty year round doing work I love having spares

I just got a rite in the rain/field notes organizers myself for work, edc. I like the fact that it protects my rite in the rain notebook

If you do a lot of work on the go I'd also suggest a portable surge protector. The last thing you need is to have a piece of gear get "zapped" by a power surge when plugging in at coffee shops or other random places. It's probably not all that likely to happen but as someone who once had a laptop component get fried by a power surge I'd HIGHLY recommend it.

Solid recommendations. Sling Bag makes sense for travel maybe not everyday. But our backgrounds are different. Also I'd put a more powerful flashlight in the bag and scrap a backup wallet. I like the heroclip for sure.

I always have a pair of nitrile coated ANSI A4 gloves. Good to protect from heat, broken glass, chemicals or whatever filth I get stuck dealing with, and cheap enough that I don't mind discarding them.

I like a solid colored handkerchief in case I need a work surface. Staring at a busy printed pattern while working with small parts sucks.
