I hated this mission. This is not the type of bullshit you expect from Far Cry

when i was about to fight the champion, he went for the zipline, missed it, and fell to his death....im the champion now!!

Another easy way is to do the New Eden missions first and after you get the extra Eden perks just activate the one that makes you super strong... he'll go down in 3 or 4 easy punches.

This seems like hard af without some perks like extra fist damage and health from the infirmary but I realised once you take out his shield from hitting him then running away he will be quite dumb with his weapon and swing really slowly so just basically punch him in the head and move back while he swings then repeat it won't take long to kill him

So I just did this, all you have to do is throw your melee weapon at his head until his shield breaks then bash him to death. Hope this helps!

So the barrel vanished after i failed the first time second time i died 3rd time i threw one of the clubs at the champion before they came down im not sure what happened as the club clearly missed but i finished the mission and beat the champion that way. Just a thought to try if youre stuck

They shoud also let you have a shield to protect yourself and make it even

The fucking champion fell from the platform and I won lol

if you dont have the barrel:
charge the hit and just double tap X twice to dodge out the way, then hit.
repeat.

The easiest way that i have found is to use fist on the champion as soon as he gets down the zip line.Keep punching the guy dont stop with Few punch he will get knocked

I came here to get some tips, and when I was alt tabbed out after dying - i tab back in and im the champion.. no idea what happened. weird.

How are yalls weapon not breaking I get 5 hits in and it breaks

this was... by far... the LONGEST and DUMBEST challenge in this game... run around in circles until you get health, hit the guy as he hits you and drains your health way down ... rinse and repeat for like 20 min until you finally defeat him.

Barrles gone and if he its me once i die🤷

Run until you manage to get behind him and just keep spaming the hit button. He cant reach you there and its his weak spot
