First of all sorry the audio is so bad on this video. I just about scrapped the whole thing but decided to put a quick video together just incase it helps someone.
Second whenever you fill the radiator there is a procedure you should follow to make sure you don't have air in the system. you will fill the reservoir until it shows full. then turn the truck on. you will repeat this until the reservoir stays full after turning the truck on. At that point you turn the truck on until it gets up to operating temp. this allow the thermostat to open and runs coolant into the block. After it runs like this for a bit allow the truck to cool and check your coolant level again. Add coolant if necessary. Don't open your coolant tank while it is hot and pressurized!

I replaced my 2001 Silverado radiator last week. With no experience at all it took about an hour to complete. It’s really easy to do.

Why do they put pin clips for the transmission line? The other hoses are just clamps. It would have been nice if the clips had a flange or something sticking out so it isn't so hard to pry it out.
