After you’ve purchased MLB tickets from Vivid Seats, make sure you can easily access electronic tickets on game day. Here’s how to accept your tickets from Vivid Seats and make sure they’re delivered to your MLB Ballpark app for easy mobile scanning at the ballpark.

This is how electronic ticket transfer from your Vivid Seats seller to the MLB Ballpark app works. First, you’ll receive an email from Vivid Seats letting you know the expected ticket transfer date. Before that date, make sure to download the MLB Ballpark app and set up your account. Because MLB has moved to paperless ticketing, tickets live within the app and you can use your phone as your ticket. They’ll just scan it at the gate.

Make sure your email matches on Vivid Seats and the Ballpark app for a smooth ticket transfer. Open the app, go to the profile icon, and tap My MLB Account Emails. If your emails match, the tickets from Vivid Seats will automatically transfer to the app when they’re ready to be delivered.

You’ll receive an email from the team or ballpark notifying you that your tickets have been transferred to your MLB Ballpark app — not from Vivid Seats, but from the team or ballpark themselves. Quick reminder that the MLB Ballpark app should always be used to get into the game; the Vivid Seats app is used to order tickets, check ticket status, or verify the estimated delivery date.

On game day, open the MLB Ballpark app, tap the game you’re attending, and hit “View” for your ticket code. If you bought multiple tickets, they’ll be part of the code. Enjoy the game!

TROUBLESHOOTING
If you’re having trouble accessing your tickets and don’t see them in the app (2:42), go to the “Tickets” section of the MLB app and swipe down on the app to refresh the page. Your tickets may appear after refreshing.
