Thailand isn’t business friendly. Spent almost 20 years doing business there. Rules for Thais (much less oversight) rules for foreigners are held to a totally different level. No rights and you can’t fully own your business.

2000 factorys closed, but 2000 underground blackmarkets open, can’t blame them either, how are jobseekers meant to survive 😢😢😢

That physical job board is not being used anymore because jobs are now advertised online.

In Thailand unemployment is very low so we need lots of foreign labor from Myanmar, Lao and Cambodia. We have around 3 million or more of them now.

Chinese quality potential is higher than Thailand. You pay for what you get. China is able to manufacture higher quality at the same cost.

Thai Baht is expensive, even the modern Malaysia has cheaper currency than Thailand. Vietnam and Philippines is booming, Indonesia with its more than 200 million population is sufficient by itself and Singapore with English speaking population, good geography, stabilize goverment. I dont think Thailand have a chance whereby its neighbors are competitive.

There are thousands of people from Myanmar and Cambodia taking low-paying jobs that Thais did formerly. Looks like they can go home and let Thais have those jobs back. (construction, restaurants, tourism)

Without innovation and business growth, only a matter of time before other lower cost locations bring on the closure. In business, cost goes up every year.

No network & no electricity in Bangladesh right now. It's a complete intentional blackout by the government. A massive clash in going on with the students and the government forces. Rest of the world
