If you are a fan of superheros, Star Wars, Ren Fairs, or science fiction, this is the Venturing Crew for you!
We are proud to announce the formation of Venturing Crew 1939 focused on Cosplay! Venturing is one of the teen programs in Scouting for youth who are at least 13 and a graduate of the 8th grade. This new Crew will be a “remote learning” Crew for youth interested in Cosplay, the art of portraying a fictional character by making and dressing in costume. Venturers will acquire skills for creating a costume based on a character, analyze ethical decision making from researching their character, leadership opportunities in working with other youth, and community service in attending shows. Weekly meetings will be done with Zoom.
