To the people who don’t know when you draw a bow with no arrow and release it, it’s called “dry firing”. This is very dangerous as all the energy from drawing the string (which transfers into the arrow) goes back into the bow which can cause it break or shatter.

I had a similar old friends story a couple years ago when I was working at the grocery store. I was working behind the customer service counter, a guy comes up and I'm ringing him up as usual and he goes "Hey, don't you remember me?" He says his name and where we used to live, and I just walk around from behind the counter and give him a huge hug. We used to be best friends as kids, and I hadn't seen or talked to him in over 10 years at that point. It was a great feeling.
