Our Hope for Tomorrow | JUST GIVE ME JESUS | Anne Graham Lotz

"...I believe that's where the disciples were Friday night after the cross ... everything they had thought of, hoped for, dreamed of, everything that they believed in had just crashed and crumbled. Their lives were in shattered shards at the foot of that cross.

But it was Friday and Sunday was coming. They just didn't know that.

The resurrection that follows tells us that there is life that follows death and there is blessing that follows brokenness."

This world is not all there is. That’s our hope.

I have listened to Anne Graham Lotz, Billy Graham, and Franklin Graham. They preach the Word of God, which is absolute Truth, from beginning - to end. I enjoy their teaching, and God has used their family to reach many people with the Gospel!

Each of us in the Body of Messiah - Christ Jesus, as well as all people throughout this earth - were created by God, uniquely - each one with his, or her own unique personality, unique life, unique purpose, unique family, unique people, unique culture, unique experiences, ... Not one of us - is like any other, and to me, this is beautiful! And God utilizes all of these various aspects of our lives, in various ways - to Glorify Him, and to share His Lovingkindness with one another! There are many ways to utilize what God has given us - to bless people!

While there are absolutes in God's Word, when we read parts of it, and/or, all of it, after knowing our Father in Heaven and Jesus - Who Live within us through the Holy Spirit - after we receive Jesus - God's Word becomes Alive within us! We then, realize that everything written in the Bible was God's way of communicating with us who are human - all Who He created - for we are His children. Most of all, God communicates Who He is: Love! God gives us precepts to live by - for our protection. His boundary lines are pleasant. God keeps us safe (Yet, God purposes that some venture out to be light in darkness - for the sake of those who are bound by darkness.).

God understands everything about us, the struggles of our lives. God knows that we can't fulfill His Word, but by His Holy Spirit Alive and at work within us! God has patience with our process (each one's unique process), God desires to gently teach us, empower us with His Love, understands our weakness - and purposes to give us victory in these areas! God does not leave us alone; yet, He understands those who work diligently, independently - those who work better in groups - and those who work well with the combination of both, independence and team work! God created us, and desires that we fulfill the good purposes He planned for us, created us to do!

I wholeheartedly believe in God's Word, the Bible; yet, personally, as with all people, God has given me a different personality and approach than He has given the various members of the Graham family, (although each one of them within their family, is uniquely beautiful, gifted, and talented), and other members of the Body of Messiah - Christ Jesus!

Personally, I met Jesus as a very young child (I have known since then - that those things in me that were good - obedient to God, were Jesus living through me, not me, myself, as "the Spirit bears witness with our spirits that we are the children of God." - We know within us - that Jesus, our Teacher, is teaching our hearts, and keeping us in His Father's will! This is the work of the Spirit, which each one must experience for him, or herself. No one else can do this for another. We can only Love one another - to God's Love!). Although I have personally lived a very hard life - working hard, ... (which I never minded, nor complained about), I have not known Jesus or Father God, or the Holy Spirit to be harsh. I have obeyed God because I Love God, and could not bear to hurt God's Heart, or to hurt the hearts of human beings I Love, know, as well as those I don't know. Of course, I am merely human, so I have made mistakes, as all have.

I know there are people in the world who are confused, who don't know what they are doing with their lives. My response to them: I want them to know Jesus and Father God Love them. Rather than judging people, I want to understand them. Rather than telling them where they don't line up with God's Word (If they ask me, I gently tell people what God's Word, says. I won't lie to them.); yet, I want them to know it's OK that we don't line up with everything. We are on earth to learn - and to prepare for our eternal Home with our Loving God! Each of us has something different to work on, and we never stop learning in life! We cannot do anything lasting beyond the grave - in our lives, without God; yet, through "Messiah - Christ Jesus, we can do all things." The truth is: God's Holy Spirit living within us - works through us when we surrender to Jesus! So there is Hope for everyone, for Jesus "did not come into the world to condemn the world, but to Save the world..."

More than anything else, I want people to know they are Loved by God. One day God will have to honor the choices of people to either receive Jesus/Yeshua, or to reject Him. Although the time is late, and "now is the acceptable time of Salvation" - God understands each and every person, and why some are holding back from receiving His free Gifts of Salvation and Sanctification. He understands all of us - and the areas of our lives that don't line up with His Word. He understands those who don't fit into one group, or another, to society, ... God understands homosexuals, those who struggle with various diseases, problems, those who have been ostracized for committing certain sins. Jesus is our healer; He cares. He has lasting solutions to our human problems: Again, each and everyone of us is unique, and so it is with the different kinds of problems we all face in this life.

Who would be attracted to a harsh father or mother? Would a child, or anyone, feel comfortable being honest - and opening up to a harsh parent or adult? If a child, or any of us - felt like he, or she had to hide his, or her shortcomings, or the ways we do not measure up to God's Word (God's Word is His Love to us; not a tool some may choose to use - to manipulate or control others. God is in control, and does not have to resort to manipulating and controlling people. God patiently waits for those He has so Loved - to embrace His safe, unconditional, perfect Love!), how could we be truly sanctified by God, and made whole? Love has clear boundaries, but Love is not unapproachable, harsh, forceful, or unforgiving! Like the father of the prodigal son, God our Father in Heaven - patiently waits for all of us to come Home to His kind of Love - which is non-condemning!

Parents and other adult role models, like children, are also, God's children - are also, learning throughout life. They also, need grace, as they, also, make mistakes. We all, do. God sees our hearts, so we can be at peace. When we as adults, are safe to approach, respectful, and not harsh - we encourage children and all people to find their own solutions with the Holy Spirit's safe, gentle leading. When we are also present with, and/or, have quality time available for children - to gently nurture them, and to help them create healthy solutions - together, that teach all of us - through the difficult circumstances, and inconveniences that come at us in life - we continue to learn, as the Holy Spirit works not only through our relationships with Him, but also, with one another!

Each and everyone of us, has a different personality, approach, ...; and that's what makes this world so interesting! We don't all have to agree with one another; yet, we can encourage and inspire one another to live holy lives - to please God - through our surrender to God's Love! Rather than forcing one another to line up with God's Word, we can choose to be patient with one another, be a lovingkind healing presence in peoples's lives - respecting people, and trusting the Holy Spirit to open our hearts to God's Love, Truth, Grace, Forgiveness - with healthy boundaries (God does not want anyone to be trampled over, as to trample over one of us - precious to Him, is like trampling over the Son of God, Himself.), and Trust in God's Spirit to do the works of Salvation and Sanctification in our own lives, and in others' lives (Although all are to be respected, we also realize that some need more guidance with this than others, do. Some have had an ongoing connection with Jesus and Father God, teaching them, and can work with integrity, independently with God.) We all need to get out of the way of God's Holy Spirit, and out of one another's way, and instead - be a part of what the Holy Spirit, is doing - a variety of works in various peoples' lives!

Different people are attracted to different types of worship and ministries (There is something uniquely beautiful about each one!); yet, we can all Love one another, without trying to force someone else to fit into our mold. There is something good in each one, and there are also weaknesses - areas to grow in, learn in - in each one. From time-to-time, we can also get together in larger groups - to learn from one another's strengths!) It's Jesus and Father God we are following, not other believers in Him. Yet, we, who are believers, can be role models of God's Love - spurring one another, on - through our individual surrender to Messiah - Christ Jesus - thereby, giving Jesus the invitation to Live His Resurrection Life through us - and flow out to others!
