harbor freight drill pump

using a harbor freight drill pump to transfer used oil. I did not think this was going to work and was very pleasantly surprised

I love those little pumps for when you have to change out toilets

I would feel that pumping 55 gal drum often would burn up a cordless drill. Thoughts????

Seemed to be moving the oil decently for what it is. Did the lil pump "peter out" or finish the transfer?

does it work if the hose not submerged?

Seeing is believing ... but the red hoodie guy is sending mixed messages. Nodding his head no .. like don't buy it. Or maybe he just can't believe the thing is working? I don't know .. I want one to pump out my differential without removing the cover.
