About your rusty bolt holes. They make bore brushes for all caliber guns that are cheap, can be chucked into a cordless drill and used for alot of applications.

Thanks for the video! A little more involved install than I was thinking, but shouldn’t be too bad.
I’m lucky to live in Colorado, my 07’ FJ only has a tiny bit of surface rust. 😬

Thanks DJ, this video helped a lot! I cleaned the six bolts out with PB Blaster, pipe cleaners, air then worked the bolts back and forth with Teflon lubricant to get them all in snug. I also wired it fuse/relay last like most normal circuits. Great video instruction!

You have some bad rust and need to know the consequences of the rear cross member frame rot. That area you mounted the hitch to is one of the first places and it will rot fast from the inside out.
