You seem to be the best in researching your subject. You keep things moving quickly and pack a lot of info into the review. Thanks for your great reviews, Teddy.

I bought my Zodiac Aerospace GMT on May 1st of 1969 for about fifty dollars from the ships store on the USS Wright. Even after a long and sometimes hard life, it still looks pretty good and keeps time just fine. I had it serviced for the second time about two months ago, and wore it most all afternoon today. It is the first item of real value that I ever bought, and is my most prized possession.

As an airline pilot that flies all over the globe the GMT complication is far and away my favorite. And it wasn't until I acquired one of my grail pieces, a Breitling Chronomat GMT, that I understood what you meant by "true GMT." There are so many appealing choices in your list, from the Glycine Airman with its rich heritage to the Sea Wolf GMT which is significant to me as I received a Sea Wolf as a gift on my 14th birthday. It is still in my collection. I'm leaning toward picking up one of those Ocean Star GMTs but I wish I could get them all! Thanks Teddy!

Thank you for your great comments on the Glycine Airman. For years I've been saying that this is the most under appreciated classic icon in the watch world, at least with regard to pilots watches. In an article I wrote on the 10 most iconic pilots watches of all time, the Airman comes in at no. 5. As background, I'm a retired military, corporate and airline pilot with almost 50 years experience. I wore my Pepsi GMT 16750 for 38 years, and picked the Airman Base 22 to replace it as my daily driver. My retirement watch is a Rolasor Sky Dweller. GMTs are also my favorite complication.

The most comprehensive review of GMTs I’ve seen. I recently added the Sinn 105 UTC in white and the limited edition Oris Rega GMT, a real stunner in gunmetal with red accents. Both have excellent legibility. Another great job, Teddy. Cheers!

I have the Grand Seiko SBGE249 “Blizzard” and love it that the GMT hand, the power reserve indicator, and the sweep seconds hands are blued, while the hour and minute hands are not, which really helps the readability. The watch is also a Spring Drive. A pretty complete package for just under 6K.

I bought my Tudor BB GMT and I'm delighted with it and still in love after one year and a half. Great video and many thanks for sharing.

I'm just catching up on increasing my knowledge about watches thanks to Mr Baldassarre, tones of helpful videos, and at 64 years old I had no idea I could become a watch nerd! I plan on starting small and will invest $2000 over the next 2 years

In the age of cloud-based architectures, software engineers deal with machines running in almost every timezone. Immediately knowing the time in UTC during an impactful event has become immensely handy. Thats what brought me to this video.

I own my grandpa's old zodiac Aerospace GMT from around 1964 when he joined the Navy. not only do I love the watch for the family value, but it's also just a really nice watch.

Another beautiful piece that gets overlooked a lot is the Breitling Avenger II GMT. The blue dial version does look fine.

Many of us Air Force flight crew members wore the Glycine in the late '60s and early '70s. It was not issued by the military and we could pick them up at the basic exchange. But we all wore them, regardless of being issued the generic Timex or whatever black-faced watch that the Air Force issued that time.

They’re all great options, but for me it stops at the Tudor BB GMT. Love the historic look, the impeccable finish detail and how it stands high on the wrist. 10/10

Best bang for the buck IMO. Perrelet Seacraft GMT. The most comfortable bracelet I ever owned as well, I live in the mountains, and this watch has gone from -40 below to 100 degrees and not skipping a beat! Truly a awesome tool watch.

I've had the Tissot Chemin Des Tourelles GMT since launch and I still absolutely love it. Very well made and clasp aside, quite durable.

I agree. I own a Rolex Polar Explorer GMT (2011) and an Omega Seamaster GMT (2004), I bought them when they were still affordable and I'm glad I did.

The Bell & Ross GMT is amazing for the $2000 price range.

My personal favorite is the Frederique Constant Highlife GMT Art Deco. (FC308X3H5/6) Beautiful numerals and really classic styling. Also quite affordable, around 750 to 1500 euro.
