AirPods Pro vs Powerbeats Pro

Apple in late October 2019 surprised us with an upgraded version of the AirPods called the AirPods Pro, which feature Active Noise Cancellation, superior sound quality, and an all-new design.

I bought my AirPods pro about 10 days ago and I’m returning them for Powerbeats Pro, one thing this guy forgot to mention and I recommend this to anybody who is active, goes to the gym, runs etc. is to get Powerbeats pro as the silicone tips on AirPods pro slips out of your ears once your ears get sweaty

Any earphone is noise cancelling if you turn it up loud enough

The deal breaker for me here is that the longevity of powerbeats pro after a year or two are worth it in terms of battery. 10 hrs+ for powerbeats pro after a year or two might likely be on the range of 8+hrs which is still good for a wireless earphones but the airpods pro, I doubt that it will retain the 4.5 hrs after a year or two. my first gen airpods after 2 years only lasts barely 2 hours.

Thanks for the video. I sold my Airpods Pro after 2 monthes because no matter I tried, they kept falling out. The Powerbeats don’t have all the bells and whistles, but they never fall out. More joy with the Powerbeat, even without the Noise Cancellation and transpancy mode.

Still picking the PBP over the AirPods. They’ve never fallen out of my ear and with that hook they never will. And I’ve personally never had ear fatigue with them. I can imagine the PBP2 having all those features of the AirPods Pro and I can’t wait for them

I've been reading comments trying to figure out which I want the airpod pros or the beats pro. The most impressive thing to me is how respectful people are being to each other. Apple headphones never seem to stay in my ear. I realize this is a slightly different design but I like the hooks the Powerbeats Pro offer and the much longer battery life over the AirPods Pro. I’m also a little tired of white products it seems kind of last decade to me.

I had both until I ran over one of my AirPods pro with my mower. They tend to fall out doing strenuous activity. The Powerbeats pro sound slightly better and never come close to falling out. Plus if you lose one you can buy one for $99. Can’t do that with the air pods pro.

I use my PowerBeats Pro for high-intensity interval training and running — AirPods Pro for easy listening and phone calls 👍🏼 Both have their place

See I don't mind the beats pro not being noise canceling because I use them out running and I find it useful to still hear ambient noises or traffic when I'm out and about, but I think the airpods pro are great for professional and traveling purposes.

If you put the powerbeat PROPERLY they wont hurt, also if you put them improperly they will hurt a bit but you get used to it

I often find myself listening to music on Powerbeats pro with 90% volume. And still don't feel it is loud enough sometimes. Oh also I really hate how I can't pair the earphones to other device without the case.

Yeah the only problem with the Airpods Pro is the silicone tips. They start to slip out once your ear gets sweaty. That gives me anxiety so I am currently waiting for my memory foam ear tips to come in. If those don’t solve my problem then I’ll probably have to go buy some jabra active elite 75ts in a couple of weeks 🤷🏽‍♂️

How is the mic quality between the two

Something no one has talked about. Hinges on the case are pretty loose (left to right). Makes it feel a little cheap. Also, when noise cancellation is “on” there is no air pass through so you will feel the pressure in your ear. Otherwise good earbuds.
