DJI Phantom - FPV low-rider legs

Testing the fit samples, these legs in the video is hard powder prints to test the fit and how they look, the final legs will be "strong and flexible" which is almost indestructible.

It is actually really HARD to skip land a quad in front of the camera... but if you keep trying it is possible. :-)

DJI really want to make clear that the compass need to be the right way up.. so do as I say, not as I did in the video.. compass cable need to come from above.

Chris, check the link in the descriptions. the low-rider gear is on ShapeWays

No unfortunately not. if you want to fly a gimbal its kind of a compromise, after all you also need to fly pretty considered to get smooth video anyway. I was only making room for my VTX downlink and will put the FPV cam on the front door.

Cool. Did you print those legs? They look a little like modded curtain rings!

LOL.. the insults one have to endure. "Modded curtain right" Yep they are prints, the point was to keep them light and strong, but have a soft angle up so they would skip or slide on the ground.. it pretty much worked, if I had landed like that with the stock landing-gear I would have rolled the quad.

Can a gopro/your gimble still be mounted underneath with these (shorter) legs?

What is the ground clearance? Would a Mobius Action cam be small enough to clear?
