If anyone needs this trick you might aswell quit the game from the console menu/task manager and yes, you'll obv lose the game, but the red card will be no more, just force close the game before the end of the match and that's it, it's been working for ages, just keep it quiet so EA won't fix it ;)
Edit: I am referring to the match you got the red card in, if you finish the match or quit from the pause menu the red card will be stored on the servers, if you force close the game or the console it won't
