For years, I've been struggling to physically understand how to use licks to move around the fretboard. I can play a ton of chords, understand key, and chain things together....
But a couple weeks ago, I watched your way old Hey Joe tutorial....and somehow, when you showed how to do this little slide up riffs between changes...it all clicked, and for the first time, I feel like I'm running up and down with some knowledge of where I'm going and how to do it again, or how to change it, and have it make musical sense to fit my inner voice.
