Reverse Sear TRI-TIP w/ Chimichurri on Traeger Grill

Welcome to my first You Tube Video!!!

I have a serious passion for Grilling on my Traeger Grill. Today, I'm working on The Reverse Sear Tri Tip w/ Chimichurri. This is one of my favorite meals to prepare on the Traeger. It's definitely more of a weekend type meal, as there is decent amount of prep involved:

We start with a dry brine of kosher salt for 8-12 hours.
Then season with a classic tri-tip seasoning rub.
Slow and Low at 225°F for 60 min until internal temp reaches 125-130°F (med-rare).
Take grill to 450° for a 5 min reverse sear on both sides.
Serve with Chimichurri sauce (recipe in the video)!

I’m thinking about buying a Traeger for our quarantine needs so I popped onto YouTube and found your video! Often I just enjoy having regular people teach me something and this was super helpful! Thanks and keep the vids coming! Also, you have a beautiful family. Hope we don’t completely lose our food supply chain for meat. That would suck after just buying a smoker. LOL
